In fact, it is one of the rarest production chronograph model that the firm produced in the 1970s. The Movado reference 01.0180.434 was produced in small numbers with around 500 examples estimated. This was the movement that set the company apart featuring stunning design, 36000 A/h (operating at 10Hz) and a self-winding mechanism on a chronograph. The size of the watch is also ideal for most wrists.In 1968 Movado joined forces with Zenith and on 10 January 1969 Movado-Zenith were first to announce an automatic chronograph movement, the ‘El Primero’.
Here we have it on the Two-Stitch Coal strap. Depending on which strap you put it on, it can be dressed up or down and is perfect for any occasion.
What I love most about this watch is its versatility. The watch also has a sapphire crystal case back, allowing you to admire the El Primero movement in all its glory. The Chronomaster is a modern take on the classic design, featuring a 38mm stainless steel case with a beautifully crafted dial. With a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour, the movement is incredibly accurate and reliable.
